Among his prolific body of work, Nandalal Bose also painted a series of posters for the Indian National Congress at Haripura in February 1938. This work was commissioned to him by Mahatma Gandhi to decorate the pandal for the Congress session at Haripura. The painting shows a hunter in a folk style.
