The artist has executed a woman sitting on the floor and engaged in some household activity. In this sketch, the brush strokes give a suggestion of a human figure in sitting posture, rendered in a few strokes with mere dabs and dashes of ink. The rendering of the figures in light washes of ink lend depth and contrast to the image.
