Nandalal's drawings on postcards are spontaneous done either with pen or a brush, the aim was simply to capture the subject and the moment. In this sketch, Nandalal has depicted a landscape, rendered with dark, vertical and smudged ink strokes. His urge to portray his surrounding is apparent in his sketches.
