    Nandalal Bose

Album No. 12 (A Landscape) 7245 Nandalal Bose Ink on postcard

×
Nandalal had a strong affinity for sketching and drawing, instantly recording in the postcard sized papers his subjects from the surrounding environs, people in their everyday life, animals, flora and fauna or anything he found fascinating. In this sketch, Nandalal has rendered a scene of the bank of river Triveni as the inscription suggest, roughly executed in loose, coarse pen and ink strokes portraying the hustle-bustle at the river bank.
