Nandalal Bose was indefatigable in his sketching routines that formed an adjunct part of his daily life. This sketch portrays a human figure in a seated position on the floor, wrapped in a blanket, rendered in thick contouring lines. The fluid handling of the line and the dark ink strokes suggest the modelling of the body, sparing much detail.
