Nandalal is known to have fervently sketched on postcard sized papers, recording his surroundings. This postcard portrays two workers. The sketch above, rendered in strong and thick strokes and the sketch below, in contrast to the first one, has been rendered in light and smooth pencil strokes, both styles adding rhythm and vigour to the forms.
