In this postcard, Nandalal sketches two portraits of middle aged men in profile, rendered in sweeping lines, defining the contours of their faces. The coarse strokes accentuate the wrinkled faces while the smooth strokes in contrast, delineated in a calligraphic fashion, convey the texture of the turbans, adding strength and grace to the forms.
