Nandalal Bose was indefatigable in his sketching routines that formed an adjunct part of his daily life. This postcard portrays a woman from back draped in a saree, rendered in rough contouring lines. The fluid handling of the line and the dark ink strokes suggest the modelling of the body and accentuate the rhythm and movement in the form.
