Nandalal has firm belief that for the creation of art an intimate understanding of the nature and its ways is imperative. In this postcard, he has depicted a flock of birds sitting on the branch of a tree. He has executed the sketch in dabs and dashes of a watercolour and fluid, bold strokes of ink defining the contours of a form.
