Nandalal's exploration of the different ways of delineating a line allowed him to experiment with its varying forms adding rhythm and grace to the form of his figures. In this postcard sketch, he has depicted a group of ladies, executed in dark swift strokes of the pencil that delineate the contours of the robust female forms.
