Nandalal's exploration of the different ways of delineating a line allowed him to experiment with its varying forms adding rhythm, vigour and life to his sketches. In this postcard, Nandalal studies in detail the contours of a plant, with its flowers, rendered in fine and fluid contouring lines. He has also scribbled smaller templates of its leaves and buds on the side.
