Nandalal understood the significance of the use of lines and experimented frequently in their execution. In this postcard he has rendered a landscape drawing of mountain ranges with their respective names at the peak, in close vicinity, drawn with fine and fluid handling of the line, resulting in a realistic representation of mountains. He did such drawings to hone his understanding of nature in his practice of art.
