In this third drawing in a series of ten drawings of trees in the album, Nandalal depicts a man climbing a palm tree. He renders the subject in strong, stiff outlines that define his lean and elongated body. Nandalal brings out the structure of the tree and other forms employing brisk, short strokes that add spirit and vitality to the drawing.
