In this sketch, Nandalal has depicted a Kabuliwala riding a horse, across a large vista of barren land. The sketch has been executed in short, fluid strokes of ink along with a few strokes of a coloured pencil to suggest the modelling of the form. The artist has keenly observed the trotting of the animal, resulting in a realistic representation of the subject.
