In this postcard, Nandalal portrays an intensive line drawing of a woman, carrying two pots tied on a stick on her shoulder and one on the other shoulder while returning from the fair, as the inscription suggest. Rendered in swift calligraphic brushwork, defining the contours of their form. The series of strong, effortless and rhythmic lines accentuate the drapes, adding rhythm to the robust form of her body.
