In the above sketch, Nandalal has depicted a sketch of two folk dancers one is male and other is female, on two paper joint together. Both the figures are filled with action and expressive of their mood and character. The artist has rendered the sketches in quick, loose strokes of a colour pencil to capture a fleeting moment and emphasise the forms, without illustrating much detail.
