Nandalal's exploration of the different ways of delineating a line allowed him to experiment in the representation of its varying forms adding rhythm, vigour and life to the form of his figures. In this postcard sketch, he has studied two human figures and executed them in soft, fluid pencil strokes that suggest the modelling of their bodies.
