In the above postcard, Nandalal has rendered a landscape during his visit to Konark with Arai Kampo as the inscription suggests. He has depicted bullock carts crossing a field, in soft, smudged pencil strokes that have been delineated in a swift manner bringing out the corporeality of the forms in the composition.
