×
This particular sketch executed with quick strokes is one of many examples of Nandalal's keen observation of his surroundings. In the above landscape, he has made the visible representation of a Mosque which is situated adjacent to a water body and surrounded with trees and shrubs. The sketch has been executed with a range of pencil strokes that bring out the corporeality of the rendered forms. At one side of the landscape one could see the quick sketch of a cow herd near the river body.
