Nandalal had a strong affinity for sketching, his subjects being the surrounding environs, people in their everyday life or anything that he found fascinating. Here in this postcard sketch, Nandalal has studied two human figures, rendered in loose pencil strokes, without demarcating any details yet suggesting the modelling of the form.
