Nandalal's small sketches are testimony of his keen observation and empathy for the environment in which he lived. In this second sketch of a series of three sketches of bats in the album. Nandalal depicts a simple line drawing of two bats. He renders the mammal in wiry outlines and loose strokes, defining the contours of its form.
