In this last sketch of a series of six sketches of monkeys in the album, Nandalal studies the head of a monkey in profile. The bold calligraphic strokes bring out the underlying emotion of anger in its expression. Nandalal also studies the head of a monkey from different views depicted in smaller templates on the side.
