In this second sketch of a series of seven sketches of birds in the album, Nandalal reproduces three different types of birds, some rendered in fine lines with light shading while others executed quickly in simple line drawings. He also depicts the birds flying or pecking, in small rough templates, rendered in long, loose strokes, sparing much detail.
