Nandalal has here sketched the Kasht Harina Ghat at Munger, a district by the Ganges in Bihar. He uses a combination of ink and pencil to render the subject in fine outlines, in a minimalistic manner. The horizon, represented in smooth lines, lends a calm to the entire sketch.
