Nandalal's exploration of the different ways of delineating a line allowed him to experiment with its varying forms adding rhythm, vigour and life to the form of his figures. This sketch by him portrays a woman standing at the door. The fluid handling of the line suggests the modelling of the body, sparing much detail.
