This is another one of Nandalal's quickly executed sketches. Characterised by their loose strokes and outlines, their purpose is to serve as studies of poses as well as an exploration of forms at their most basic. In this particular sketch, Nandalal has depicted three foxes wandering around. He has rendered the emaciated animals and the bushes in the background in short, fluid strokes of ink.
