In this postcard, Nandalal has sketched a goose, rendered in thick and dark lines, defining the contours of the long and slender neck and muscular body. As per the inscription, this drawing is a reproduction from the French book, "L'Art Greco-Bouddhique Du Gandhara (L'Art Greco-Buddhist of the Gandhar)", by Alfred Charles Auguste Foucher, a French art scholar of the 19th-20th century.
