In this postcard, Nandalal sketches a few ornamental, two dimensional swans, rendered in thick, solid and strong pencil strokes. These drawings are probably reproductions from the Jain miniature style of painting, which may also have been used for alpana decorations (Bengali name for rangoli), as per the inscriptions.
