In this postcard, Nandalal sketches a decorative swan motif enclosed within a floral scroll, rendered in thick sweeping lines. As per the inscription, this drawing is a reproduction from the book, 'Yaksas - Essays in the Water Cosmology' by Ananda Coomaraswamy, published by the Freer Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution in two parts (1928 and 1931).
