Nandalal has here studied the stance of a female attendant, rendered in bold and flowing contouring lines, part of the mural that depicts the Mahajanaka Jataka from cave no. 1 of the Ajanta caves. The mural shows attendants serving the prince Mahajanaka at his royal toilet before a ceremonial bath.
