Nandalal here sketches a Yakshini carrying lotuses, rendered in quick blunt strokes, part of the panel, 'Arhats, kinnaras and other mythical beings adoring Bodhisattva', from cave no. 2 of the Ajanta caves. This particular scene of the mural depicts a Yaksha and Yakshini couple, bringing an offering of lotus flowers to the Bodhisattva. The face of the Yakshini shows amazement at the sight of the Bodhisattva.
