Nandalal has here sketched the back profile of a man, sitting on the ground. The figure looks upwards while he holds a ribbon in his right hand. Rendered in brisk pencil strokes, as the inscription suggests, this drawing has been reproduced from part of a mural from cave no. 16 of the Ajanta caves.
