Nandalal has here rendered a pencil sketch of a woman holding a pair of hand cymbals. The image is a reproduction from part of the mural in cave no. 17 of the Ajanta caves, that depicts the worship of Buddha where Indra glides down through the clouds with his retinue, including musicians, to worship the Buddha.
