This image is a sketch of an ogress, floating in the sky as her hair and garments sway with the wind. The aggression in her posture has been rendered by Nandalal in fluid and confident pencil strokes. This drawing has been reproduced from part of the mural, 'The March of the Royal Army- Simhala Avadana' in cave no. 17 of the Ajanta caves.
