This sketch by Nandalal depicts an ogress, in an attacking posture. The exaggerated breast and hair differentiate her from the other female figures of the Ajanta murals. As the inscription suggests, Nandalal has reproduced the image in fluid strokes of the pencil from cave no. 17 of the Ajanta caves.
