Nandalal has here rendered a sketch reproduced from the mural that depicts the Sibi Jataka from cave no. 17 of the Ajanta caves. This particular scene shows the king Sibi, who gave his eyes in alms, enduring great agony in its aftermath and to support himself, has stretched out his right arm and placed his hand on the throne.
