Nandalal had a keen fascination for studying the architectural traits particular to different regions and also observed the modifications in them with the change in terrains. In the sketch above, he has rendered a hut like structure with corrugated slant roof. He has scribbled this sketch in smudged, loose pencil strokes that suggest the modelling of the form.
