The subject here being 'Sumi Painting -Moon and the Trees? executed from his memory and experiences. Nandalal has painted the composition in an effortless manner, using swift brush strokes to create the natural form of the trees and the moon painted soft brush strokes. This painting was purchased from the collection of Shri Biswaroop Bose and Smt. Nivedita Bose, children of Nandalal Bose.
